Yom Hashoah

Holocaust Remembrance (Yom Hashoah)

The U.S. Congress established Days of Remembrance as the nation’s annual commemoration of the Holocaust and created the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum as a permanent living memorial to the victims. Holocaust Remembrance Day, Yom Hashoah in Hebrew, is commemorated on the 27th of Nisan on the Hebrew Calendar, marking the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

In observance of Holocaust Remembrance, the Palm Beach County Library System will be showing films, and hosting a presentation and book discussion.
