Online Research

Our wide range of electronic databases have accurate, trusted information that you can’t find using your favorite search engine. Use your library card to find the information you need. We have everything from online phone directories for homes and businesses to full-text magazine articles and information sources with answers to all of your questions on topics such as business, health, science, literature, education, law, current events, the arts, entertainment, regional information, and much more. If you do not have a library card, you can get a Temporary Research Access Code (TRAC) for immediate access to our databases.

  • Provides full-text for more than 610 nursing and allied health journals (and indexing for an additional 3,000 journals), as well as health care books, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, and more. With coverage dating back to 1981.

  • Get ratings and reviews, recommendations, and buying advice.

  • Access electronic encyclopedias and reference books; includes biographies, literature, business, medicine, government, science, and more.

  • Find health and medicine, medications, and wellness information from encyclopedias, directories, medical dictionary, magazines, journals, and newspapers.

  • For nursing and allied health students, as well as for the general public. Contains articles on health related subject from a variety of health periodicals, plus excerpts from health-related reference books.

  • Access news and magazine articles on a wide range of topics: business, computers, current events, economics, education, environmental issues, health care, hobbies, humanities, law, literature and art, politics, science, social science, sports, technology, and general interest.

  • Over 650 topics on conditions, diseases, and wellness. From the U.S. National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health.
